Ecoline

Fresh water chlorine generator Ecoline eliminates the need to use salt as well as to accumulate, store and mechanically dose hypochlorite like it has been done with most traditional fresh water treatment systems.

Ecoline can be used for many applications: drinking water treatment, food processing plants, reverse osmosis / desalination, water features, cooling towers, fresh water swimming pools, irrigation water, grey water, agricultural lagoons, recycled water, sewerage and waste water, bio-septic tanks – The opportunities are truly endless.

Advantages of Ecoline:

1. No chemicals / on site generation
Chlorine is activated from the small amount of natural mineral salts present in the fresh water. This is in-line chlorination technology, i.e. fresh water passes through the cell and the required amount of chlorine is produced from the water itself and diluted immediately into the passing water.

2. Energy efficient
Only six watts of energy is required for every gram of pure chlorine, compared to traditional 13 watts per gram of chlorine.

3. Robust

This is a solid state technology where the amount of chlorine is controlled electronically by the control board and voltage/amperage applied to the cell. There are no mechanical dosing pumps and are no tanks required to store chlorine.

4. Destroy chloramines

Fresh water chlorine generators will destroy chloramines, therefore it is not necessary to install additional UV treatment systems or regularly “super chlorinate”. However, fresh water chlorine generators will also work with a UV system if it is already installed.

5. Skid-mounted, modular and/or retrofit design

Cell module assembly with multiple electrolytic cells on a single skid can be built as large as 152 kg/hour of chlorine.

Other advantages include provision of on-demand sodium hypochlorite production; constant disinfection by-product formation; improved water quality; elimination of transportation liabilities, bulk storage and use of chemicals; removes transportation liabilities; reduces threat to public safety.

AIS Chlorogen

 

Chlorogen is an off line on site sodium hypochlorite generator suitable for any application where liquid chlorine can be injected.
