Steam Rooms

Steam rooms are in essence the "opposite" to a sauna. Whereas a sauna supplies a very dry, hot heat, a steam room on the other hand offers a very moist hot heat. The steam room as it's name implies is full of steam and hence it is normal for all of the interior surfaces to be very wet.

Steam Rooms are available in reinforced Acrylic pre moulded rooms or you can custom build your own design using alternative materials to incorporate the steam generating system.

As the environment inside a steam room is very wet, it is very important that a steam room built from alternative materials is professionally designed. As we do not design or construct steam rooms ourselves, we strongly recommend that customers wishing to pursue this avenue employ the services of an architect so that they can design the room to meet the relevant standards under the Building Act.

This is not just important from the perspective of the function of the room, but also to ensure its durability and long life, given the environment is very wet and aggressive on normal building construction materials.

Fifteen standard Steam Room models are available, ranging from type I (1-2 person) through to type VI-5 (11 person), as per the floor plans.

Steam generators are also available in various heating capacities and have the options of internal or externally mounted controllers with a range of control options.
