pH Correction

Water quality is dependent on maintaining stable pH levels.

Carbon Dioxide(CO2), a naturally occurring gas present in the air and used by plants for food production, is used along with Sodium Bisulphate  by many municipal water treatment plants for lowering pH.

Interestingly, the setpoint of pH, is based on the human tear pH reading of 7.4,  and  pH levels are generally maintained between 7.2-7.8.

Improper pH levels, rather than the sanitiser, are often responsible for irritating bathers' skin and eyes.
